Chronology of cameras Krauss E.

We can say that this is the ideal camera for the photographers specialized in postcard. Very sturdy, with a perfect mechanical design, this device adapts to almost everything.
The interchangeable lens is installed on a 9 x 9 cm metal board, allowing very wide angle or tele lenses.
Two rails, one of which controlled by a rack allow a triple extension, limited on this specimen to 38 cm by the extension of  the bellows, but with a perfect rigidity.
The back gets vertical or horizontal position with a single click. The back is the spring-back type, enabling drag a single holder without removing the ground glass.
There is also a leather handle, two Congress type tripod nuts, a double spirit level and a hot shoe for the use of an external viewfinder for free hand use.
The Krauss catalog 1922 presents four models: height, square, width stereo and square stereo, available for sizes: 6.5 x 9; 8 x 10.5; 9 x 12; 10 x 15; 12 x 16.5 and 13 x 18 cm. This provides a collection of 18 variants.
However, a small problem ... even if it was proposed in the E. Krauss in Paris catalog, this little wonder was actually produced by Linhof in Germany. (McKeown p.624 - 627).
